Using the Zalman 9700 and the Q6700 i wanted to know what people temperatures are at. I want to have an idea what my temperatures on my CPU would be.

Stock or OC?

Stock should be around like 20-25*C , OC +3ghz and over should be around 35*C on idle.

uh... not if its 25c ambient.

Idle, stock, you should be 10c above ambient temps. a typical OC at 3.2 should be 15c above ambient.

Load, should be +25c more than idle temps.

Not really... this CPU is a 65nm , and OC it around 3.2ghz and more, ive seen MOST people around the 1.425v and idling around 25-32*C ... right now Im at 38*C on Idle @ 3.8ghz with Ulta-120 Extreme w/ 120mm Sythe 1200rpm

Zalman 9700, not a TRUE

Right now I get ~35°c idle and small ffts gives me mid 60's°c load, that's with my q66 @ 3.6/1.42v

I havent mentioned specifically that CPU Cooler But still that is the average temp for that CPU unless you go Watercooling

I made a thread similar to this, the result was that the Zalman 9700[+NT] can handle a quad @around 3.5-3.6GHz
