Where is it supposed to display one?
Open your physX properties, under the INFO tab where it says physX properties it should say somthing like PhysX processor 100. Click the HELP tab and documentation for how it should look in your physX properties.

I still haven't got it working when i try the cell factor demo i get this error

PhysX hardware not detected! Cellfactor requires ageia hardware and drivers runtime..ect..

Woah, you're scaring me. Why would the GSO be better than the GT with these? I am stepping up to a GSO in a few days, and am confused...

the 9600gso is a g92 chip which can do physx, so in games that use physx, and in benchmarking, the 9600gso might get higher scores than the 9600gt.

This is only really useful if you have two cards not in SLI, with one doing physics, or in Vantage where they just separate the physics and graphics and let you do things you'd never be able to do in a game.
Well I have a spare 6600GT in my PC i'd love to use for this if I could

The 8800GTX has a seperate hardware PPU onboard - I can't believe nVidia forgot about it

It has that now? Can't say I've heard about anything but physics being accelerated by the GPU itself.

It has always had one in, but it was never used.

The 8800GTX was an incredibly good card designed to go up against the monolithic R600 than ended up being a monolithic failure.

Promised since the day Nvidia announced Ageia's acquisition, PhysiX support for GeForce graphics cards is finally here with the new 177.39 driver. This new GeForce release, sourced by the guys @ TweakPC, is dated June 16 and comes with support for the GeForce 9800 GTX, GeForce GTX 260 and 280 graphics cards and the nForce 750a SLI and 780a SLI IGPs. Please note that you'll need the 8.06.12 (or above) PhysX driver installed too.

To get the new GeForce 177.39 driver just give 2Many a shout or two...

- GeForce 177.39 (Windows XP 32bit)
- GeForce 177.39 (Windows XP 64bit)
- GeForce 177.39 (Windows Vista 32bit)
- GeForce 177.39 (Windows Vista 64bit)

do these drives have the moded inf file or do i need it ? and if so where can i get the inf for vista 64 bit?

well these drivers dont work on my system AT ALL. i have replaced the disp.inf with the one off the OEM cd and the one off of here and neither work. it either errors out during install saying varios files are missing with the OEM inf or with the modded inf i get 4 resolutions none of which are visually acceptable with no other refresh rates other than 61 Hz. ?????
