Now only if the Mass Effect installation limit gets removed.... That would be awesome.
That means it's sales have gone down right?

This is why I support sharing Why shouldn't you be able to give something you bought to your mates, like a cake for example! It's music more than games I vouch for here but they fall under the same thing really.

Imagine if you went to the cakeshop and got a cake but your friend wanted some cake too, also imagine he was too poor to buy one. Just to increase the moral tension and strengthen the argument You offered to give him some of yours but the shopkeeper reported you to the police The way media is sold to use by these huge companies. Were there laws there before saying this is how you sell things like this, or did they make them themselves? Now we're just so used to it we support it!

Yes I know they have this thing where you but the licence but not the game, not sure if it's the same with music however... but I think that's what needs to be scrapped. All the system is in aid of it to make that cake shop owner more money by limiting each person to a seperate cake

Sorry if that was off-topic or against the rules

It means the game has reached the End of Sales. Basically from this point on, the company is no longer expecting anymore sales.

Mass Effect will probably see a similar fate in a year or so.

Good. I am glad. I think activation limits is just plain stupid for games. I mean...Its a game people and peoples machines do change.

In anycase I lend games to mates if they ask. I do not see anything wrong with it..its not piracy lol.

Just imagine this.

'' Hey mate...Oh cool you have BIOSHOCK on PC !...Can I borrow it and give it back in a week ?''

''Jeez sorry mate wish I could but the games activated on my PC and 2K games said I am not allowed to lend it to you''

Though I agree with your view regarding sharing I have to tell you that the analogy with the cake is flawed.
Cake is a good that you can consume - you eat it and it's gone, or it's useful until you eat it after which it's of no use to anyone. Games, along with other products are goods that you can't consume - they retain their usefulness in time and can be used indefinitely.

I thought about that but to me it doesn't matter if it's consumable or not.
