RV770 takes about 120-130w. Take into account the onboard CF bridge.

CFX is limited to 4 GPUs. One CF connector is built into the card to connect the two GPUs.

But aren't you suppose to have 2 Xfire bridges when running say 2 4850. So does this mean you only need 1 bridge with 2 4850s? Why do people whack both on?

The 2900 series needs both connectors, HD3000 doesn't, neither will HD4000. The problem was bandwidth on the 2900s, they couldn't get it to work well with one connector, so they required two.

Before you ask, No, connecting the second CF connector on the 3 and 4 series will not give you performance boosts.

Reviews haven't confirmed actual power draw. You can't estimate it accurately based on total system draw at 3D load, too many components are active. Wait for X-bit labs to do proper power tests. The HD3870 had a TDP of 105W, consumes ony ~85W in reality. The 4850 has a TDP of 110W, for the entire card. The RV770 is the majority of that consumption, but not 120W.

You are probably right, I'm very interested in how much power the GDDR5 will consume.

Wasn't that a limit of PCIE 1.1 vs 2.0?
