I have a HP dv9700 and i cant stand the cpu...i probably cant but is it possible to oc it? im still pretty new to OCing. I wasnt sure if this was possible since laptops are already heat up badly. I just want some ways to get the best performance out of it. Any suggestions?

Best to just drop a better CPU in. While you can't overclock through your BIOS you can though software. However thats the worst way to overclock and will probably mess up Windows.

its usually recommended not to OC a laptop, there are special heat issues and it can't be done in bios
