Everest or Core Temp readings???

Thread Starter
I've oc'd my e8400 to 3.6,i'm running right now sp2004 to stress, btw the test should be blend or small fft???Anyway...the thing is that everest shows me 50° and core temp shows 70°......i never had that kind of temp on my computer even at full load and oc.It usually stops around 60° after 15-20 minutes. Each one is real???thank you

I believe realtemp is the closest to any kind of accuracy with 45nm processors.

there you go!anyway...this should be my normal temp at full load and oc.And another question...i have a huge vdroop, right now the bios voltage of vcore is 1.30 and in cpu-z shows 1.216.A guy just told me that could be a problem with my bios and doesn't saves my vcore settings.Could this be true? All other settings seems to be saved.I have the latest bios on my mobo(1002).I

Not too bad of temps for stock cooling. And it could be the bios preventing the vcore from raising, check and see if there is a bios update and update it.

:O:O:O:O.....i've stopped the stress program.....realtemp shows me 69° and coretemp 79° and everest 57°.I've put the hand on my cooler and seems very hot and the air in the case is hot but i'm running open case.My room temp is higher than usual.Could this be a problem?I have a fan on my case if it helps.

It is the latest bios upgrade.A downgrade could help?

I think realtemp is most accurate. I think you need a cooling upgrade.

I second coffeejunky in his statement. Stock isn't cutting it.

Your fine, they both moved and are within +/- 2 so no problems there. Also, what temp program were you using to get 62c under load at 3.9GHz, cause that is about what I hit with my TT and unless stock cooloing got way better all of a sudden I doubt that to be your temp.
