Im liking CrossFireX. A great idea from ATI (even though i prefer NVIDIA). ATI is slowly coming back to it's old reputation. Very nice!

Yeah I'm a huge fan of ATI's innovations. I'm waiting for the PCIe 2.0 to mature a bit then I'm definitely going for a CFX Setup.

Well anyways even though we all got sidetracked here, to come back to the original thread topic. This is a very nice card and with 1GB it shows a lot of potential, especially for overclocking.

CrossFireX is the new and improved CrossFire. It allows for up to 4 GPUs to run in tandem.

The HD3870 and 50 were both overclocking monsters, I can only imagine what this one will be able to do.

No, Think about this:

When in crossfire, Two cards do not combine their memory, E.g. 1gb+1gb in CF still essentially equals 1gb. Which makes 1gb models the choice for Crossfire, because with the amount of power a crossfire setup puts out, you don't want to be stuck with 512mb of vram.

Removing the last bunch of posts in a thread isn't my favorite hobby. Come on, please be polite.

And to be honest, I don't even know what the whole fuss is about. I didn't see ANY post that was hard to understand (I immediately knew what Modki was talking about...). And heck, we all forget a comma or so once in a while There was nothing incoherent about anyone's post.

Carry on about the topic. Next time, I'll move straight to infractions.

Thanks.

i'm surprised there is no game bundle from asus, but the 4850 alone is enough to warrant a purchase.

Thank you very much. I am truly sorry if I did something wrong or was incoherent in any way. I will be much mindful next time.
