What is VID, when it comes to the E8400 wolfdale?

And is it the same as FSB volts on the 750i ftw evga mobo?

The vid it says on my processor is 1.13v

VID is the voltage that intel decided works best with your processor, it never changes regardless of what you do.

Check out this site from Intel which describes the VID in detail:

It is the specs page for the E8400. Never let your CPU volts go above 1.3625.
