DAMNIT.Zalman 9700 NT degrees drop only by 1-2c?

Ehem,just got my zalman 9700nt in my q6600 cpu and u kno what,temps didnt drop well.

While at stock i had 42-46-40-40 i now have 42-45-38-38.

Thermal paste is good,what is wrong up here?

According to your sig rig....you're running a Centurion 532 case. That could be your culprit right there. The Zalman 9x00 series coolers need VERY good case airflow...and that case only has so-so airflow. I know my Zalman in my sig rig is starved for air as well. I load at 62*C undervolted by 0.1v right now. So that's my guess....your Zalman is more than likely starved for more air.

whats room temp? thats your idle temps, idle doesnt matter, whats your load temps?

How do the load temps stack up against each other? That would be much more important than idle temps comparisons.

I applied enough.
Opened side case,airflow is pwnage atm.
Problem solved.
