Water Cooling Setup

Thread Starter
Hey guys, here is my proposed set up. Have a few questions at the end, and would love comments/suggestions on everything.

First of all, this will be in a slightly different system, with a DFI DK X48-T4RS, and 2 ATI HD4850's.

Radiator: http://www.petrastechshop.com/hwlablicegtx.html
Pump: http://www.petrastechshop.com/swmcin12pu.html
CPU Block: http://www.petrastechshop.com/dfuv2uncpuwa.html
GPU Block: TBD, none confirmed to fit 4850 yet
Tubing: http://www.petrastechshop.com/1id3odmagepu.html
Clamps: http://www.petrastechshop.com/ststwohoclwb.html
Mount: http://www.petrastechshop.com/swmcrre2raho.html
Res: http://www.petrastechshop.com/swmchire.html
Fans: 4x http://www.petrastechshop.com/12x38scdfuka1.html

Questions:

1. Is this enough cooling for the 2 video cards and CPU, or would I need 2 loops (i assume with smaller radiators on each)?

2. Is that enough cooling for the Rad?

3. How bad am I going to kick myself for trying to do this in a p180 =P?

That rad will cool it all fine since you don't mind the higher cfm fans, you might want to run 8 of them in a push-pull,That will do some serious cooling.. Run your CPU right after the rad, then to GPU's.....I'd use shrouds on it to knock off a few more C...

..Part 1-480 GTX-Temp's With and With-Out Shrouds - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net

.. Poll: Push or pull configuration for Radiators

..How To: Make any Sized shroud in 2 minutes

..How To: Build A Performance Shroud

The rest looks pretty good to....But really if you are after max clocks I'd do 2 loops, but with that rad and fans above on shrouds,in a push-pull, you probably wouldn't run any hotter then 1 loop with 240 rads and 2 fans each in a pull, just at a guess...

I'll leave you my cleaning and set-up PDF, be sure to read all the stickies here also, if you haven't already..
