Quad Core Insert For FuZion?

Thread Starter
I was going to order a new waterblock as my crappy thermaltake one just cracked and I read that the D-Tek FuZion V2 is the best you can get. when I went to http://www.crazypc.com/products/d-te...-v2-93073.html it says you can add a "Quad Core Insert" for $4. what is it? do I need it? its only $4 more. also, what do you think is the best coolent to get? I have been using Hydrx but I just saw X-teme H2O Coolent http://www.crazypc.com/products/d-te...-v2-93073.html what is best? (I like green)

and if anyone else know a better place to order these parts, please link

and sorry, i left out the most omportant part: I just got a new Q6700

Yes it's worth it to get the Quad insert, that is if you have a Quad Core CPU. Also I've used Hydrx and it is pretty good but I've gotten better results with Pentrosin G11.

Fuzion is a very good, if not the best wb..but you dont need the quad nozzles, its only for quad core cpus..And fluid..well i use Feser one and its ment to be as good coolant as distilled water, which is the best.

oh sorry, didnt see that you have a quad..well all it is, its a little nozzle which goes in the intake of the fuzion and concentrates and splits the water input to the fuzion, spreading the water steam over both dies in the quad which cools a quad better but no it does not require any extra tubing.

Not saying everyone will have this problem but . . . the quad plate in my system increased temps fairly substantially. i would order it and try it out, but don't be to surprised if it doesn't work.

Here's the post.
