Nvidia Physx Results 8800GT

post #1 of 31
Thread Starter
I managed to get my 177.39 driver installed on vista 32, and then I installed the physx driver from Nvidia. My scores went from P7900 to P11313! Pretty ridiculous in my opinion. Either way, very good scores. It probably won't have any major gaming results, except in the physx supported games, but i'll just have to see. In the cpu test 2 my ops went from 8 to 94.

That's really nice! I guess I should be happy with that since I'm gonna 8800GT SLi too!
Let's just hope more games with Physx support will come!

Wait what? The new 8-series drivers now have PhysX support? Even on XP?

I've missed something.

I'm not on xp, i'm on vista. I have both, one on each hdd. By the way, you have to have the 177.39's with a modded inf file. Go to the news section with the 177.39 thread.

You can start calling fake when you're sitting in my computer chair watching it pull the scores. Get the heck out of this thread.

And it's not an e4500, it's an e4300.

The reason it's pulling over 20k is because the gpu is doing a heck of a lot of physics processing. I downloaded and installed the 177.39 drivers with the modded inf file, and did a comparison before and after the installation. I also installed the nvidia physx 8.06.12 driver.

@Crypt: That'd be a 3870x2, I don't see what your point is.

@Pierced: It's for all 8 and 9 series cards as well.
