The 600W seems to be doing fine with the card atm, just got done playing COD4 MAXED settings to test temps, i was getting 73c , and 50c idle right now, thats with the fan up to 75% in Rivatuner. Comes default at 25%, *** were u thinking nVidia...

I did not need that adapter after all, i did not see a little 2 pin connector that was on my other 6pin connector. Which makes it 8 pin. So now its fulling getting power from the PSU, with no extra after-market adapter.

As i type this, its now idle at 48c

I'm very happy with this card, I'm afarid to run Crysis The 8800GTX got up to 80c with Crysis on High... think of the GX2 on very high might be........AHHHHHHH!!80c+

What is the max temp this card can go before it stats shutting itself down to keep it cool?

Anyways, Thanks for all your help..

Oh, I got the SSC edition for $550 on NewEgg, its now 500, so GO GET IT!!!!!!!!
Im glad to hear it worked... i thourght that your PSU would be enough all along.

Set your fan speed to 80 - 85% and you should be fine with everything maxed out.

just try it and if you think it might not be enough, before you buy a new power supply get a multimeter and stress the cards with say 3dmark vantage and make sure it doesnt drop within 4 or so percent of 12 volts. (dont try unless you have experience working with electricity)
