First turn off C1E, CPU EIST, TM2. Now you can overclock cpu and ram. Set FSB 250 Mhz and CPU clock ratio for 10 (standard). System Memory Multiplier set to 3,33. Write more about ram. Set also voltage for cpu normal and for ram if you have normal ram set 1,8 if better with radiator set 2,1.
If you do this things you get CPU 2,5Ghz and RAM 833Mhz.
If i help click REP+.

1 thing make sure ur memory is good for OC becose it can hold u back
if it isnt set it timing manualy in bios (CTRL+F1 in bios open adv.options) set to its stock timing
oh and set ur PCI-E to 100MHZ
and in preformace use "standart"
and have a good OC

Make sure you have a good airflow in the case. Try to do some cable management (zipties). Maybe get a better CPU heatsink if you'r planing to OC.

Hey josh, the fanboys are going to say the Tuniq Tower, or the True. It really depends on what kind of budget you are on. On the cheaper side the Aritic Cooling Freezer Pro is decent.

I could be completely wrong here, but from what I remember, the 8500 isn't a very good gaming card.

/agree. Those FPS seem about right. Try overclocking the card using ATITool and EVGA Precision, should be able to get a bit more out of it. Leave the pci-e frequency at 100mhz, it has no impact on graphics performance, and if set too high can cause HDD corruption.
