Uhm the one I posted was 9800 gtx+ and the one you posted only had the reg 9800gtx. So I'm not seeing where the results are botched. + I don't call those sites way more reputable anyways.

Read my edit in the original post. You really don't think Anandtech and Guru3d are more reputable than legit reviews? New to computer hardware? JK

Have fun believing the 4870 will be the king of cards. I can't believe some people are so gullible.

Edit: Originally from http://www.overclock.net/hardware-ne...-9800-gtx.html post by Marin.
This is comparing a card release 3 days ago vs 1 year and a half .. two years . makes a huge change in the drivers . Plus , heat , noise , power needed , and under anti aliasing and other visual option turn on , the 9800gtx was getting 10-15 fps behind in the benchmark i have seen . So lets say after all that there is equality i will go ati for not trying to sell these card 600$ at launch .

So now you are complaining that because this tech cost 600 bucks 1-2 YEARS ago. Tech good enough to still do well today. The top nvidia cards are always around 600 and the 8800gtx was said to be one of the best investments of gpu you could buy for pc, but here you are complaining lol. Then theres the fact the 9800+ is 230 anyways not 600. I really wish ATI would win since they've had 2 years to make a new card to beat it while Nvidia just spins on their thumbs. It doesn't look like its gonna happen though. Have fun believing whatever makes you guys sleep better at night though ATI fanboys.

If I had the money I would happily pay the price for the gtx 280 considering it will have video transcoding, no sli/x-fire problems in games and its a folding monster. I guess thats just me though.

arent those the SAME EXACT graphs that were posted previously and considered fake?

also, wouldn't this put 4870 over double the power of 4850? i doubt the difference is that pronounced

Cmon , if you cant admit that Nvidia was overpricing dont call others fanboi , my 3 last cards were Nvidia but i can still see clearly . Its sad .. there is no forum discussion anymore, without somebody feeling is ego menace by the critics of is favorite brand .

By the way , the 3870x2 beat the 9800gtx by a very good step and were almost the same prices 2 weeks ago . My argument are not of fanboism but as a consumer . Thats why i change my Nvidia set-up . Will Ati out perform the gx2 with the 4870 ... i doubt it . Will Ati price value beats Nvidia ...i dont need long reflection to answer that on.

Now the real question , will the 4870x2 out perform the gx2 , Seems really possible and at what prices ?

P.s your right i should not have wrote about 2 years ago , i give you this but still man , they lower the price last week from average 320-340 to 200$ . And one month ago , i was strongly considering the 9800gtx ...
