Then theres the fact the 9800+ is 230 anyways not 600. I really wish ATI would win since they've had 2 years to make a new card to beat it while Nvidia just spins on their thumbs. It doesn't look like its gonna happen though. Have fun believing whatever makes you guys sleep better at night though ATI fanboys.
If I had the money I would happily pay the price for the gtx 280 considering it will have video transcoding, no sli/x-fire problems in games and its a folding monster. I guess thats just me though.
Cmon , if you cant admit that Nvidia was overpricing dont call others fanboi , my 3 last cards were Nvidia but i can still see clearly . Its sad .. there is no forum discussion anymore, without somebody feeling is ego menace by the critics of is favorite brand .
By the way , the 3870x2 beat the 9800gtx by a very good step and were almost the same prices 2 weeks ago . My argument are not of fanboism but as a consumer . Thats why i change my Nvidia set-up . Will Ati out perform the gx2 with the 4870 ... i doubt it . Will Ati price value beats Nvidia ...i dont need long reflection to answer that on.
Now the real question , will the 4870x2 out perform the gx2 , Seems really possible and at what prices ?
P.s your right i should not have wrote about 2 years ago , i give you this but still man , they lower the price last week from average 320-340 to 200$ . And one month ago , i was strongly considering the 9800gtx ...Edited by Bluezeer - 6/21/08 at 1:56pm
