Do you think people like kingpin, kinc, and fugger are stupid when they buy expensive stuff for benchmarks? ( i know some of them get them for free now but they bought it all themselves at one point)
i guess its my personal opinion,
if its ur business though, then i take that back. It just gets on my nerves when people buy super expensive stuff for the fun of see big vantage and 06 scores....
And ya, fugger and the rest of them are all sponsored and get there stuff for free

Well honestly, who cares about a benchmark that gives higher points to a card just for having a feature that has no actual effect on performance? (PhysX)

Benchmarks are supposed to rate performance but when you get points just for having a feature, that's when the benchmark becomes an inaccurate measure of performance

Or do you just want to see big numbers?

arekieh vs core2duo, FIGHT!

I buy computer parts because I don't have a girlfriend to spend the money on.

Oh, and I want to see big numbers! lol

Realistically, I want to be able to play the latest games, and I can't have a 360 because my dad will throw it in the trash.

Although I'm not one of them, there are those for which benchmarking is a genuine hobby. It's really not unlike people who dump loads of cash to collect trading cards, and I don't see why a benchmark hobbyist's purchasing decisions should offend you. If it's what they like to do, it's their money, and I can't find anything wrong with it.

A 360 is a purely gaming piece of hardware. His dad probably doesn't know why he needs to spend lots of $$$ on video cards.

My parents are the same way
