Is this normal?

I just installed my first wc system.. running stock on a Q6600(2.4) My temps were 25-28 idle. I OC to 3.0 and they are 33-35 idle now, is this big of a jump normal?

vcore 1.3
ram is auto
ht is 13
nb is 1.3
sb is 1.5

What are your load temp's? Wc'ing will generally have a higher idle temp,the higher the v-core the higher the idle will be, but the load wont be a lot higher..So if your load temp's are fine your good...

Here they are. It would tick to 40 max. What exactly is vcore? Could mine be set lower?

Those temps arent bad at all really for full load. Are you sure that is 100% cpu??? those are actually really low. What type of CPU cooler do you have?

Those are great temps in my opinion! What are the load temps? Run orthos or something equivalent for 10-15 minutes.

Look at my second post, thats w/prime95

Edit: probably should have mentioned earlier that it was prim95

Those temps are very good! Keep overclocking that chip, you're good until 65C(my recommendation)
