I didn't even reboot, it's just miraculously more stable. like I'm talking 1125 sent me into a constant yellow screen.. now it's fine and running. and NO fraps is not open.
This HD4850 is an absolute beast now! I hit 114fps in 3DMark06 w/ a measly CPU overclock in SM Test 1 at the beginning! That should translate into around 120ish peak in some areas of that first test with a healthy overclock on the cpu. I can't wait to get that second booger and throw the meat to it!
and now the new overclock on the ram + atitool arty scan!
Do me a favor.
Turn off ATI Overdrive and set the clocks to stock. Open your ATI profile page and open the default profile. Note the voltage.
Then turn on Overdrive and then go back to the ati profile and see if the voltage increased.
I tried doing this and the ATI profile doesn't show my voltage increased. But I've heard confirmed reports elsewhere that Overdrive does increase volts and shows these changes in the profile page.
(BTW, this is the same profile page where you do the manual fan fix in CCC. But there's a main profile and a folder in the same directory that shows all your saved profiles.)
