Any guides on making Vista look and act like XP?

Thread Starter
I need to face the fact that I am going to need Vista when I get my dual 4870X2 video cards, because XP does not support more than two GPUs. I want to make the least painful and quickest switch to Vista as possible in order to get myself ready.

I already get using the Windows Classic theme, but it's not enough. I want the file menus back in explorer, advanced folder options, system properties all in one place (advanced system properties has been split up, dumbed down and castrated in Vista). I want to completely get rid of Aero and the sidebar.

Basically, I want it to look and function as XP using the windows classic theme, but in the background still have DX10, superfetch, and the few perks vista has over XP.

Are there any guides on how to do this, or does anybody have any suggestions on how to configure Vista in this manor? I have Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

And why is that? It has many more advanced functions at my fingertips. In Vista, even with the classic theme, most of the advanced functions are still split up, a pain to access, and dumbed down.

Is anybody able to help?

As a gamer, you should never use an OS how it was made for performance reasons. Plus how it was made is not very good
