System does not have enought power?

Thread Starter
Hi guys.

please tell me what is wrong with me system.

I have OC it to 3.6GHZ at 1.40V ( exactly ). stable with orthos for like 30 hours, now here is the problem, next time when i turn the computer on it wont boot on the first attemp, after i restart everything it sweet again....

Is that my CPU does not receive its need of power? or is it a failure in MOBO? ( since the chip is stable with 30hours of Orthos )

I am very confused never stumble in anything like this... i should repeat:

The whole system run sweet ( no crash, no nothing )
After turn it off for sometime ( say 10 hours ) and turn on again it wont boot, not until you restart it

Not to hijack the thread or anything but I have the same exact problem. It won't boot the first time from a cold boot but acts fine if it has been on before.

Please someone help us

Harobi just made it that much easier for us or himself.

I have the same board, proc, and Memory as you.
and my FSB is running at the same speed as yours.

I dont have this problem.
Look to your PSU or, your chipset might not like your clock. so possibly a board problem.

Very hard to nail this type of scenario on the money.

What happens when you lower your clock speed by about .1ghz ?

Also harobi, what is your memory running at ?

Mine is Linked and Synced running at 900mhz 5-5-5-14 2T _ 2.1v

Yes i am at 3.6GHZ, if the board does not like my CPU speed it should froze right? but how come it run sweet for like 30 hours on orthos, and when it is on i have no problem at all.

Just like Harobi say a cold boot does work until we restart it Something wrong with the PSU? 500W of Cooler master I green should be enough for my system i think ( real power 480 )
