Rig issue

Ok so tried to boot my pc yesturday and the power light on the front would come on and then a few attempts later even that didnt come on

When powered

MOBO leds light(pre power button)

after pressing power

leds still lit
No case fans
HD doesnt spin
no POST
it acts like it gets no power


Im thinking PSU any other ideas i have a second psu a little smaller in wattage that im going to test tomorrow

i have unpluged and repluged everything to no avail any ideas woudl be great

No sir... im afraid that sounds like a mobo problem.
I have seen and heard that scenario multiple times.


but if you have another psu... double check.
If your other psu does the same thing.....

I do have another PSU i plan to test with tomorrow i sure hope its not the MOBO that um well sucks

I have the new PSU you in i get fans hard drive and all get power and start but when it goes to POST it then gives steady POST beeps fix?

fixed missed a power connection thanks for the help guys

Nightwarrior, what are the POST beeps like? What is the pattern? Are all the LED's on the board lit up at the same time? For testing purposes have you tried different memory and using only a single stick?
