How to CHANGE VOLTAGE to CPU?

Thread Starter
I'm overclocking my pentium d 925 and i've moved the fsb speed up to 220. At stock my cpu is 3.0GHz and now its 3.3. It's very stable at this point with NO voltage change. 3.4 is iffy. My computer crashes sometimes.

I want to know how to change the voltage to overclock further. I've explored my bios and have found nothing. What should I look for? and what would it be labeled as?

I found some sort of voltage in the chipset configuration but it just says HIGH MEDIUM or LOW

Chipset voltage is not CPU voltage. That's for Northbridge and Southbridge.

Just from the "High, Medium, Low" settings, it sounds to me like your motherboard (Never heard of it) has very limited bios options. If you can't find cpu voltage modification, it's probably not hidden anywhere.

Edit: Just searched a little. Found another thread about this motherboard here on OCN and the other user also had trouble changing his CPU voltage. Looks like it's not going to happen.

Well, since you didn't specify what version your BIOS is, you might try updating it. Aside from that, you are ed

make sure your voltage in bios is not set to auto...that may unlock your cpu voltage so you can change it..Good Luck
