Don't let the few people that don't like it because its completely different than WoW turn you off from trying this game.

As for the existing bugs that ALL MMOS have at launch - 2 semi-large patches a week with a huge one coming on Monday.
I suppose because I hate WoW, and all the WoW kiddies fear this game as a threat - I must try this game.

I pissed myself laughing at this article considering how much of a flame war was started because of the previous post of WoW-Riot saying that AoC was doomed to fail...

Ugh

Not so much the requirements, more of a bug really, but I run Crysis on high at 2-4times the framerate I get on AoC generally. For some reason AoC refuses to run at a decent framerate (no matter what resolution or graphical settings, i.e. lowest @1024x768 SM2 = high@1980x1050 SM3 with maybe a 1fps margin of difference). I get ~6fps in some zones, ~10 in others, and in some really small secluded zones I get maybe 15-20. It seems to get lower and lower through out the day too, probably because of it's video memory leak.

Still love the game though, just got my Dark Templar to level 70 today

If you guys don't mind me asking...how is everyone leveling up so quickly?

I'm not an avid fan of the grind treadmill but this seems a bit silly?

I'm currently lvl 55.

AoC is definitely faster than wow specially from 1-50 is way faster to lvl, but after 50 it gets a bit harder they are less quest so you have to grind is not grinding like in an asian mmo where you kill X amount on mobs for an hour to get 1%exp. In Aoc as long as the mob is same lvl or a little higher than you the exp is really good also for some grinding spot you can get like a WANTED quest that can be done over and over it will tell you to kill 20 of some kind of monster and after you're done it will give you the exp.
Is alright

Contrary to my initial reports that as many as 40% of retail copies were going unsold, nearly all retailers are sold out and having trouble meeting the consumer demand for Age of Conan. A June 2nd press release from Funcom confirms the surprising success as Age of Conan rises to number 1 on the charts:
To steal a line from someone that had a better writer than me...As far as little mistakes go, that isn't one.

I personally can't judge the game one way or another since I've never touched it but isn't that "Grind" element kind of what gives MMO's their charm?

Not like Asian MMO's as you said but I think its kind of like buying a new game at the store and beating it in under 4 hours...maybe its just me but I always thought reaching the last level for your character in previous MMO's felt all the sweeter the more time I had to dedicate to it *shrug*
