help, e6300 to hot?

Thread Starter
hey im new to the forums, just joined cos im worried my e6300 is running to hot.

im running an e6300 in an antec 900 case. its overclocked to 2.6GHz and is idling around 42C atm. I just installed a cm sphere and its still in the breaking in period, so there will be a slight temp drop due to that. The problem is that im not sure if i put to much paste on when i installed it, and was wondering if these temps are to hot?

What matters are not your idle temps but your load temps. Could you tell us what they are?

Agreed. Download OCCT and tell us what your temps are. Coretemp is the most accurate temp program for 65nm.
