Did I kill 2 sticks at once?

I was installing a Vista update about a month ago and after the update I had to reboot. I reboot and I get no post. That's weird. I reboot again and no POST again. So I clear CMOS, again no POST. So maybe I have a bad RAM stick so I take one out, and no POST so I install the other and still no POST. Having fun now.
I have 4GB of this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146565
but I've had only 2 sticks of it in for at least 3 months(too many computer projects going on) so I get the other pair and just install 1 and what do you know, it boots right up.
So now I'm at stock so I leave everything at stock except I set the RAM voltage(just testing it) power off and try each stick again and neither POSTs again so I put back the 1 good one in and run a few tests(Prime for about 5 minutes to see if I have any issues) and everything is fine so I power down again and install the second of the pair again and now I'm running 2GB again.
Then I reset my OC back again, it's easy because you can save your OC settings with this board and the only thing I noticed is this board overvolts RAM by .08( I know this, but for some reason I must have forgotten somewhere) so instead of being at 2.2(that's what it was set in BIOS) it was 2.28. Some time about 2 months ago I must have done this( that was the last time I was messing with my OC).
Question: Was this overvolting the reason for the RAM dying and isn't it strange 2 sticks dying at once?
I don't reboot very often, probably about once a week so wouldn't it cause an issue if one died one day and the other died another. Wouldn't the system just shut down if one stick went bad? Or do you think both sticks died at once?
I tried them in another board and they don't work there either.

Sssooooo...... did I kill 2 with 1 reboot????
