I am having trouble deciding between the 680i or the 750i, which would the pros recommend?

Going to be running 2 EVGA 8800GT, 8GB RAM, Q6600...

Alright, any specific reasoning behind that? Someone told me the 680i was better but they never really told me why, which is why I came here.

why even consider a 680i? 750i FTW is an amazing board. (check link in sig for info)

I had actually just clicked your link before checking back to this thread, saw your reply about the 750i and went to your signature. One quick question: is the video playback issue (where the card just locks up) fixed, or is it still ongoing with the 750i and 780i?

680i's were **** for OC'ing quads, whereas the 750i's have given people comparatively better results

Oh okay, thanks! Still curious about the video issue, it's not a deal breaker or anything, but it'd be nice to know. With this being settled hopefully my new computer will be up and running within the next few weeks! Come on tax rebate check.

i had that problem once. But i've been watching videos lately no problem at all. In fact, in the latest BIOS update notes:
