If you want a top of the line Skulltrail rig VigorGaming and a few others sell it for 11k+. It's crazy to spend so much on a computer it would become obsolete so quickly anyway.

yeah 45nm is right... in 10 years a 300 dollar comuter will most likely be better then whatever you guys come up with now. IMO you should get a q6600, 1 GTX280 and some other goodies, then when it becomes obsolete or you aren't happy with it, spend a little more upgrading to the new parts..

Maybe search if ramdisks still exist and get performance that's superior far beyond velociraptors.
