Need Help to Diagnose Problem.

Thread Starter
Hello.

Today I was moving around my PC and decided it was time to move some stuff around within. I moved my CDR drive and DVD drive down 2 slots and removed an old floppy disk, that was connected to nothing. Here is the problem I encountered after having basically changed nothing. When I turn on the computer my front lights do not light up and basically the computer appears to hang, the Monitor doesn't flick to life either. So I unplugged all the power cable (inside) and re-plugged everything, it came to life. Now a couple hours later, same deal, but I don't; exactly know what I did in the first place.

Can anyone give me a hint?

its probably a bad psu, a lot of cheap psus dont last the time that you hope they will last and especially when moved around a good psu, even when moved around will still turn on, so its most likely a sucky psu

Ok, I completely forgot to mention something. The computer turns on, as in, all the fans and lights turn on (not the front however), however I do not get the beep for the startup procedure and my screen remains blank...

Could it be my video card, it turns on as well though...

I assume you mean the flat lithium battery on the Mobo. Did it and still the same problem. Could that battery be dead?

Hmm, just got it to turn on. The CD driver seemed to have a bit of looseness to the plug, straightened it out a but and the system turned on?
