i'm planning on getting 2 velociraptors 300gb and a WD 500gb green drive, so how would i be able to set that up with the 500gb being the data, and the raptors being O/S, games, and apps??

When raid is enabled, you have to set up a RAID pertaining to drives. You would enter your RAID menu on boot, and set the Veloci's to your RAID of choice, and leave the 500gb alone. Then on system boot afterwards, the Raptors are viewed as one drive, and the 500 as another drive. It's actually pretty easy once you start playing with it.

what kind of motherboard do you have? I would first check to see if your motherboard has onboard raid. If it does, you have to select which hard drives you want in the raid from the bios. Restart, then the bios utility will be available to setup the raid.
