Good disk defragger other than diskeeper?

Thread Starter
Yeah, DK only supports drives up to 2TB unless you buy the $400 server edition, which really pisses me off. I will be soon upgrading to more than two 1TB drives in RAID 0, so that throws DK out the window for me.

Are there any other defrag programs that automatically defrag the hard drives in the background like diskeeper?

Follow the link in my signature called "Welcome to Overclock.net's Downloads Section" and you will find other alternatives for defragmentation

I believe O&O does what you're looking for - let me double check drive size limitations.

EDIT: You're clear - automatic defragging and no drive size/format limits.

Defraggler is an excellent program, it's made from the people who made CCleaner! The interface is excellent is and it's a very fast program.

I would have suggested Defraggler or JKDefrag, too, but they do not offer any automatic or background defragmenting.

I use O&O, they're the only ones that have a defrag program that works on 64bit OS's if im correct.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've also been searching around online, and it appears PerfectDisk 2008 and O&O Defrag 10 both offer what I'm looking for, and I can not find a single comparison of these two (at least not the newest versions).

Kind of annoying, I need to try both and see which I like better.

EDIT:
O&O, PD, and DK all work with 64-bit OSs.

For what it is worth, I have had PerfectDisc blow my MFT all to hell before, rendering the drive completely corrupt. I would use it with caution.

Same

I use O&O 10 and have not had one issue with XP and/or Vista on multiple installations.. The background jobs and unattended runs are the best.
