Well, I don't know how important your data is, but I work for Ontrack data recovery and I know they could get it for you, not cheap tho.

You might try buying the exact hardrive then change out the circuit board.

if all else fails see if you got a buddy that has one of those nifty external drive bays, if it doesn't work there your drive is most likely toast.

I Broke the conectors off my Seagate 500GB Sata Drive lost all my Data(Music,Pictures, Programs, Everything) !

I believe right around $1000 is what I've seen quoted from seagate for drive recovery. I would assume other similar companies are in that ballpark.

There are other places online that will do it for the $600-700 dollar range, not sure on their reputation. I mentioned seagate as i've known several people that have had excellent results from them. Software based recovery (corrupted partition etc) is significantly cheaper, the software to do it only costs in the $50-100 range.
