The Extreme Audio is basically a rebranded Audigy. Get an Xtreme Music or a ASUS Xonar DX (The $90ish one on Newegg).

I'm not sure how fast your current drive is, but the WD6400AAKS (they're 640gb) on newegg is 99$ and beats the Raptor in everything but load times, but that doesn't mean it has slow load times though.

--Edit--
Nvm, it's 110$. They changed the price. They drop it down to 99$ every once in a while and they're quite fast.

If I went for the Gamer or DX I would drop the pc166s

You can try to get an Xtreme Music off of Ebay. They usually go for 40-50$. Maybe you could snag one for 40$ if you're lucky.

I'd get more HDD space, doesn't have to be a Raptor though. I don't think 250GB is gonna cut it these days if you want install a decent amount of games or large apps. I only have 140GB total and it feels tiny. I had to uninstall quite a few things just to install Mass Effect. I don't even have a big music collection (It's like 1 gig lol) or anything else, just games mostly.

IIRC, the 320GB came in two versions. There is a 320gb platter version and something else. The two 320gb platter in the WD6400AAKS are what makes the 640GB drive fast. People pick the 6400AAKS because it's always going to come with the 320gb platters where as the 320gb drive varies.

--Edit--
I almost forgot, 70$ for 70 more gigs of space is NOT worth it. At least to me it doesn't.

From what I saw they stopped shipping around march because one of the reviews said he ordered march 20 and got the older drive so i would assume they have all newer drive models now, and this is only 1 platter so quieter, and faster

I'm assuming you've read my edit. The drive should be faster than your current one, but for the price to space gained ratio, you're getting 70 more gigs for 70$..... I can show you a 750gb drive for around 120ish.
