Still, in America, you can still get a computer for a little more than a console that can still let you play most of the games.
XBOX 360 is ~400USD, an average computer costing ~600USD can play most of the current games.
PS3 is 600+USD.
I don't know _ about Wii.

The only difference is that consoles have limitations whereas PC's can be modded or somehow changed. People with consoles either

1. dont want to worry about upgrading a PC to play games
2. Want to play games on the console
3. cant think for themselves.

I have a 360 and i love playing games on it and Xbox live is great(except for the people) but id take a PC over a console anyday. In a couple years the consoles graphics will no longer be able to compare to graphics of a PC.

the lack of PC games are starting to make me thinking of getting a console.

PC Gaming Verus Console Gaming

well:
i know what the cheaper and easier method is...
i know what the expensive and hard methord is...

PC Gaming:
+ Grahpics will look & run better
+ Game modding
- More Expensive
- Tweeking & OC & Installing & Setting Up Software & Hardware

Console:
+ Cheaper than most average General PC systems
+ Easy to use
- no modding
- not as good a performer when compared to Super Gaming Rigs

At the moment i do not think the PC dominates gaming at the moment!
WHY? - well, there is no new games out at the moment that float my boat!
I go into Game (or where ever) and see the same games in the top ten week in week out...

Consoles at the moment i would say are winning the gaming format just now.
Just for the fact there are more new games coming out on consoles than PC.

I still say the PC is the ultimate format to play games on though....
(when you have a very good stable system full of £$ hardware!)
but when theres more new games coming out on the console than the PC;
that look just as good on console than PC...theres only going to be one winner!

Whats the point in having an ubber PC system that can play crysis on the highest of settings when theres no new games out there?!
AND the games that are cmoming out might not require that amount of hardware spec!
its just wasting money really!

STOP THE ARGUMENT!

Move to Canada. It's simple I'm sure there are MANY PC gamers here more than consoles in Canada.
