Best fan controller?

Thread Starter
What is the best fan controller out there? I have recently sold my W/C setup, and i am going back to air cooling. (I found myself worrying too much about leakage, even though i leak tested for almost 48 hours, i could not help it). I need to get a high quality fan controller. I looked at the Zalman MFC2, but it can only handle 4 fans. I need to be able to control more than that. Right now, i have 8 fans, not including on my TRUE. Is there anyway to connect 8 fans to that unit (splitting wires and combining two fans on one input), or would that cause too much voltage to be passed through the unit? What unit can handle that. I would prefer an LCD, but knobs will suffice, if that is all i can find.

Probably the Rheobus/Rheobus Extreme,

Regular can handle 20w per channel

Extreme can handle 30w per channel

No LCD though.

I was going to suggest the Rheobus as well, as you need more fans the extreme will suite you well.

I would try 2x Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus'

http://www.zalman.co.kr/ENG/product/...ad.asp?idx=208

Or the Silverstone FP-52

http://www.silverstonetek.com/produc...=fp52&area=usa

That should work. I would also advise Papst or Nanoxia Fans(Nice and quiet).

I hope that helps.

IMO, theres no point in having a fan controller with quiet fans.

Or some Noctua fans if you'd like the quietest.

I agree with that as a third option, or one of three, so as not to set preference.
