Since I'm not building my computer till this time next month, when can we expect to see the 9950 out in the retail market?

I would go for the 9850 instead, since it would be new it will cost more and will only have a clock of 2.8 which the 9850's can hit pretty easily

Pre-orders are already being accepted for the 9950 BE. Also it is 2.6ghz not 2.8

It's actually 2.6GHz, so it's even worse of a deal.

The first 2.8GHz Phenom will be on 45nm and K10.5

It's not that far away now. Last I knew they're supposed to be out early/mid July.

As far as I know, it's specifically the 790GX chipset that's delayed. The SB750 will also be paired with the existing 790FX, and this should still be on schedule.
