[INQ] Nvidia cheats on 3DMark with 177.39 drivers - Page 11

In my opinion, benchmarks are a good secondary evaluation of a product. I have always felt that real world evaluations are the primary evidence of a products success/failure. If card A consistently produces 5 more frames/sec across the board (or majority of applications) than card B, then it would be time to compare those cards in a benchmark evaluation to determine how, where or why those differences occur.
Currently the industry is all backwards with this evaluation of products. The far view is the application you use everyday, the microscope view would be the benchmark. You dont bring a magnifying glass with you when you buy a car, why? because that view really doesnt tell you much- you have to drive it.

The 177.39's pulled me 14015 in Vantage but made GRID uplayable so I rolled back.

try using the 177.35s but install the newest physx drivers. that's what i did and now grid and crysis run fine (which they didn't with the 177.39s) And i can still use physX.
