Here we go. Idiot. It doesn't matter who was on top before. You should care because soon no-one will care about how many of your precious Vantage marks you get because it's redundant.

LOL @ being dumb enough to blame nvidia for a program made by another company and then calling someone else an idiot.

Coke I'm blaming you for my Pepsi not tasting good. lmao

You obviously are incapable of comprehension at the most basic of levels and are coming across as a fan boy. Do your research before you argue a moot point.

Futuremark makes Vantage.

Vantage includes PhysX.

Nvidia makes PhysX.

Logical progression would suggest...that Nvidia asked Futuremark to put it in there. Both are at fault like I said in the previous post. Idiot.

"What Nvidia has done is horrible because not only have they not included ATi's frontier technology (DX10.1) they have included a technology in the 3DMark score that does not reflect real game performance owing to the fact that hardly any games use it anyway. If they have the technology they should be allowed to use it right? Wrong."

What Nvidia has done. Not futuremark. Quoted from you. You mean that one? All knowing, all researching(even though you said you didn't read it all already) idiot. lol Like you finally just said Nvida could have ASKED. NOT FORCED. Yet you blame Nvidia and then start calling other people names.

I'm pretty sure I said that in reply to the general notion that Nvidia was right in the rest of the thread. Taking a sentence out of context and then quoting me is poor show. Futuremark screwed up. I'm not going to argue a truism.

I'm glad you finally got/admit whatever you wanna call it.

There is no other meaning to that btw. If anyone on earth reads that and then I ask "Who screwed up?" they would reply "nvidia" Maybe I just take everything anyone puts on here out of context though. lol

ATI crafts drivers specifically so that they can score higher on 3DMark and nothing else, and now Nvidia is doing the same thing. Boo-freaking-hoo. Let's cry about it some more.

And what equals a higher score for me is higher framerates. So, regardless of how the GPU is processing information on 3DMark, higher FPS = higher score, end of story. I don't care if Nvidia is using a fusion power source and alien technology. Higher FPS, still equals a higher score.

I admit the first part isn't phrased correctly but the second part conveys the meaning. Let me refine what I meant to say in the original post then.

wow yet another fanboy raped thread.

In my opinion DX10.1 should be what they included instead of physx, for the simple reason DX has alway been about graphics and has never once leaked into the CPU part of the test. I feel NVIDIA has been underhand, at least criminal in 'bribing' yes i mean bribing FM into including the physx along with the graphics benchmark as they feel threatened by ATI's advancement of DX10.1. It seems NVIDIA has not been able to breakthrough in this field and are therefore having to buy another company in order to expand their cards graphical capabilities, not only in games but industry standard benchmarks.

To finish, I think that instead of buying companies, NVIDIA should just get off their asses and try to work-out how to implement DX10.1. IMO this just shows how lazy NVIDIA is in their R&D and although it isn't cheating it does give them a 'monopolized' advantage
