I would go with the Logitech Z-2300 THX Certified 2.1 200-watt Speaker System.

I have a pair of Logitech X-230 speakers hooked up and they sound nice for the price I paid for. All you need is

cable and a then you're set to play with any speakers that have a 3.5mm plug (which most PC speakers only have).

What cord are you plugging your 360 into your monitor with? I use the VGA cord which comes with a Y audio adapter. All I had to get was a stereo audio coupler like Piro's 2nd link and you can hook it up to just about any PC speakers. Piro, I don't believe the first cord you linked would work, since the 360s audio cables have male RCA connectors and yours has 2x male RCA connectors, not to mention the stereo audio coupler you linked would not be able to plug into the Y audio cable you linked.

Here is a link to the Y audio adapter I am talking about, it and the VGA coupler shown come with the VGA cord for the 360. You can get Y audio adapters like this at radioshack and similar stores.

One other thing you could look at is digital speakers, although I am not sure you will be able to find any for <$100.

I'd say the Logitech Z-2300 speakers as well. By far the best speakers for the money I would have to say.
