ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 BIOS Swap

Thread Starter
I wanted to mod the BIOS on my ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 mobo just to see if I can get a few CPU overclocking features. I can't seem to find any modded BIOSes for this mobo. I wanna swap to a completely different BIOS but im scared that if I do it won't work well with the hybrid AGP PCI-e bridge on the mobo and maybe something will get damaged and also I may not be able to get the old BIOS back on.

help? links?

hi PaRaDoX_883
i have the same mobo as you and was wondering if you have agpx8 in your bios?
mine only has 4x i even updated the bios to version 2.10 to see if it would make a difference but its still the same. im using the pcix slot now not agp but was wondering whats going on with my bios on the asrock site and manual it says agp 8x speed.
thanks in advance.
