Going liquid cooling soon..

Thread Starter
In the sig rig, and there are pics in my gallery to give you guys an idea what I would be working with.

I've seen the many threads about you WC guys loving to 'design' kits for people, and well, here I am! I am looking to spend ~$250 and only need to cool the cpu and gpu. I have no qualms about dremeling my case to provide for an external radiator, as my ambient temps remain pretty low...two AC vents in the office

As is it, the windtunnel ive got going is making me deaf... and I need to achieve a 100% overclock on my E6600...can't really do that on air. Plus IMHO WC is more classy.

So this is what I have to work with...what should I get?

Cooling both the CPU and GPU with a 250 budget doesn't look good. You'll need a D-Tek fuzionV2 for the CPU, at least a 360 rad to cool both, a good pump to keep it flowing over both dies, and the GPU block isn't much anyways, like 40 for a swiftech block. But if you go to petrastechshop you can get a "kit" that is essentially the best parts sold together. There is an elite kit with a CPU and GPU block and a 360rad and a good pump.

Check it out

You can bring it in close to that if you look for used parts, look in the for sell section, I've noticed a few down there selling WC'ing gear..

..This is V1.. FuZion .....This is the newest V2..D-tek Fuzion V2....Should be some guys selling V1 now that V2 is out.....With V1 you would need a back-plate.s/ 775 Pro-Mount ..V2 has one with it....

....D-5 Vario.Get the vario if you can, the "B" model had 30% less flow...

...Swiftech MCW60-R VGA cooler..You'll need ram sinks with it, make sure it fits your card and that you need the sinks...Swiftech 60 Sinks...

..I fans aren't a problem one of these..360 BIX..with 100+ cfm fans are really good...These are what I use on a BIX.115cfm Pana..A Swifty 320 if you want low cfm fans...

..7/16x5/8"..You use this on 1/2" barbs, its a little more compact and easier to route around in your case...

Mix this at 10-1 with distilled.Pentosin..Add a couple drops of this for a biocide...PT Nuke

Res..5.25" Bay Res.Or just use a t-line...

Automotive worm drive clamps or a couple of zip-ties on each barb...

Heres some stuff to rad, be sure to read all the stickies here they have a lot of good info...I'll leave you my cleaning and set-up PDF also, it has a lot of basic info in it....
