mix ram size?

hey can i mix ram sizes>? I know about speeds and that stuff but if i have 2x1gig sticks, and i want 2 x 2 gig sticks as well. This going to work. I assume it will take the slower timings but ya, will it work?

In my experience it should work, it did for me. Although matching sticks is better. Hope this helps!

Yes it will work fine, just make sure you put the sticks in the right slots to operate in dual channel mode (they are usually color coded). Otherwise you will suffer from a huge performance loss.
