E6600 @ 120°c+!?!?!?

Thread Starter
Ok I've had my pc for over a year now, and a few months ago I decided i was going to overclock my cpu. Now i thought i'd just run orthos at my stock settings, (stock cooling) to see the type of temps i am getting.

Apparently i get 121-125°C in both my cores? This cannot be right, but i've found this with other temp monitors for CPU's saying my core is at 80°C.
My case flow is fine, i have a Coolermaster Mystique (RC631), 1 intake 120mm at the front and one 120mm exhaust at the back. My 8800GTS 640mb doesnt get that hot either never going into the 70's in gaming. And my ambient are 22°C or less.
Any idea what is going on?

P.S. I've just bought a Zalman CNP9700 NT which I will be installing very soon and seeing if that makes a difference.

Well I'm pretty sure that can't be right but if it is, you better do something about it quick.

There is a screenshot.

But seriously if it really is that hot, surely it would've blown up or somthing?

Make sure the heatsink is attached correctly; all push pins turn in the opposite direction of the arrow and pushed all the way down. Also, make sure the fan is plugged in and set to full speed.
