My X9650 3.00 GHz is not running above 30 Watts

Hello,

I am confused, The intel X9650 3.00 GHz is supposed to run at 60W but mine mostly runs at 20-30 watts. My bios is fully updated and in the bios by CPU settings i disabled Everything especially Intel speedstep also things like vanderpool technology and the rest. But it still had no effect. After that i oveclocked the CPU to 3.80 but still it ran at the same amount of Watts. I never changed any of the voltage of my CPU, and i also tried resetting the bios any one know whats going on?

AI Suit changes the wattages as needed, some power saving software. When you put the CPU under load the wattage will increace.

*Edit* If you hover over the icon when you first boot you will see the wattage increace to 45-50 Watts, as the processor is at about 25 - 30% load.

So How would i stop it from powersaving? just uninstall?

I presume so, I have uninstalled mine, and PC Probe too.

They are both a bit unnecessary, but with that said, I assume the CPU will change wattage for power saving without having AI Suit installed, but get rid of it anyways.

I would assume because its at idle, the TDP is probably measured at load.
