I do and I doubt gamers get anymore hard core then me, ive spend thousands on my setup just to play games! I also own a ps3 and xbox 360... Well I guess let me answer your question gamers who want every last bit of performance care about benchmarks to...

and where is the proof of the 9800 gtx loosing to the nvidia? and drivers well as you can see nvidia's drivers have been getting really insane lately. I gained about 10 fps in crysis with the new 177.35..

sigh he asked who cares about benchmarks and I answered "gamers who care about the best performance" like myself, and benching and doing well in those benches matters to me almost as much as how well it plays games. I might bench 2-3 times a day if that sometimes which takes about 20 minutes and I play games about 3 hours a day

Also he never provided the proof of how the 4850 beats the 9800 gtx which he claimed to do.

yes it wins sometimes but I wonder what drivers they used for the test... the 177s are amazing in both benching and gaming...

**after some review it looks like the 4850 is pretty amazing wow**

thats the 9800GTX+ not 9800GTX, look sorry i don't want to get into a fight with you i apologize if i hurt you (sorry for sounding gay) but the 4850 is really a better buy right now why do you think the 9800GTX+ cost more?

The 4850 is ok, but its still just the newest mid-range card, and if it was me, I'd get a 9800GTX over it simply because most games seem better coded for nVidia. But the 4870 is where my money is going, it only gets a few FPS less than the GTX 280, but comes at half the cost!

call of duty 4 ATi really owns there, but games like Crysis nvidia will have uperhand most of the time cause their cards are more coded for it

Thread Starter
Thanks for the thread jack!

Back to the questions at hand... It appears that CCC or atleast the newer version has its own "AutoTune" which will work with Vista...

So that is cool any words of advice\ips\ricks when using that?
