PSU Enough (tri-sli)?

Thread Starter
This is probably a stupid question, but is my PSU enough to Tri-SLi 9800GTX's with the stuff in my sig? I'm probably going to change to an E8400 instead of the quad but I need to know how much power I need from a PSU. I used this calculator (http://www.extreme.outervision.com/index.jsp) and I bought the pro version to see what I need. Well, what do you guys think I need to tri-sli 3 9800gtx+'s in this system!?!?

A 550w TT PSU for Tri-SLI? No.

I would say a minimum of a 750w quality PSU if you already had one. Howver, I would buy a 800w+ unit if I was to purchase new.

If you get 3 9800GTX+, I would say 850watts.
There is now way your current PSU will support that.

Thats why we have these forums. I don't know if I will go 3 right away because the driver support is still....fair...so I will probably get an 850 just to call it safe. Thanks guys! Rep given.

So if I decided to get 1 9800GX2, what PSU is recommended for that?

580W is the recommended for that card, 600W+ quality PSU would be better.
