8800gt sli acting up

Thread Starter
hello im new as a friends ordered me to register here and post about my prob

i have read the http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/3484...rformance.html topic but had no luck

other hardware
E4500 Intel 2.2Ghz 2mb cache
2gb ram 6400 800mhz
700W thermal take power supply
ecs 650i sli ready mother board
latest Nvidia 8800gt driver

crysis settings 1920x1200 resolution everything on high not anti ailise

i have 2 8800gt's one is a mis 512mb 8800gt and one is a Inno3d 8800gt 512mb 8800gt

i previously had my single msi 8800gt installed and decided as i was running at a 1920x1200 resolution it was worth buying another one

i installed them this morning put the Inno3d 8800gt in and turned it on (alit with msi 8800gt) worked fine it prompted sli enable and tried crysis i was getting a lovely 15fps bonus in high settings

turned it off and booted up again sadly something had gone wrong and it did not detect the sli any more tried removing both cards going back to single msi 8800gt even more things messed up something had gone wrong with my hdd it said it needed to find some files for some strange reason

booted up quite a few artifacts around the boot screen went black for about 2 secs then went to the desk top
turned it off as i didn't need to do more

put both cards back in didn't find sli till about my 10th time installing the latest drive and removing the cards back and forth

and finally it found the sli

so started crysis up (best benchmark for me to see increased in fps)
found that i was only getting 20 fps :O :O :O so i came on here as a friend suggested tryed doing the

r_conrestricted 0 and r_multiGPU 2 in the command box but only got 30 fps and thats what i had befor with just a single card

ok finally done that's more then i wrote on my final exams in high school haha

well i really do hope you can help or ill send it back and order a new ati 4850
