Best Thermal Paste??? - Page 2

hey fellas.. was having a look online. and they do that liquid metal pro paste in the form of pads.. that simply put between your cpu and heatsink.. and then they burn in after about 5 minutes.. anyone know any more or about them.. wether there any good.. or should i just go with OCZ freeze??

Liquid Metal is permanent, so if you ever plan on changing cooler, which you do, I wouldn't use it.

what do you mean permenant.. does it actualy fuse to your cpu and cooler... or is it just a ***** to get off??

You already decided but here is my vote for OCZ freeze too. Got it on my cpu cooler and it has been better by 1-2C than AC5. Also, no settling in time for best temps is another plus!

I would have to say OCZ Freeze, I've recently bought some myself and it's great.

IC Diamond 7 Carat is also supposed to be good, plenty of people over at XS have been getting great temps using it, and, it's made of diamonds...
