You can get memory sticks dirt cheap. I got a 8GB memory stick for $40 from DealExtreme. Sure, it really isn't a Sony memory card, but it still works perfectly fine for the PSP.

And again, no you don't need another PSP - stop saying that it is untrue. Its not hard to make a Pandora's battery (or just buy one for $20) without another PSP. Ive done it 20 times already WITHOUT a second PSP.

And the DS has very very little headroom for developing homebrew. The PSP already has seperate OSs.

Psshs *spits drink all over the monitor*
You're 100% wrong. That's like saying, I'll never play Super Mario Bros ever again. Thats basically what you said.

And in terms of the PSX, Ive already played FFVII, Legend of Dragoon, MGS, and a hand full of other titles all over again on the PSP. And I have several friends who I sold my other PSPs too who are also doing the same thing. So what you just said makes 0 sense.

You just have no clue what you're talking about. You're just lost. lol
If features aren't everything, then why do producers continue to make things like the Iphone?

Do you want to carrying around 10 different devices in your pocket when you could just have 1 PSP or 1 Iphone? Why would I want to carry around a DS AND an Ipod AND a Phone AND a camera? That is the logic you're using. Which makes no sense. Suggest you think about what you say before saying it.

Also, you said play a PSX on a TV. How can I play a PSX on a TV when Im on the train, in an airplane, or in a long long long car ride and the car has no TV. Im not gonna lug around my own personal TV everywhere I go. If you do, then you have more problems then you think.

And, because you guys love to divert away from the main point of this thread and make it a flame war - then why don't you go back and refresh yourself starting from the OP. The PSP has more votes.

PSP has a much more powerful processor than the DS does.

All the DS has is two smaller screens. but, wait, TWO!

In the general gaming AND homebrew department, I'd take a PSP.
I have one homebrewed and one updated and a DS that was cracked by my engineer friend ( I have no clue how to homebrew a DS ).

There's a lot more support out there for homebrewing a PSP anyways- and the latest version has great battery life.

Buy Patapon.

If you wanna watch movies and listen to music on it, PSP, hands down.

And if you have a PS3, definitely a PSP.

But overall, I think the DS has better games.

PSP FTW!!!

Seriousloy, bigger screen, better graphics, it's just much better in my opinion.

Web browser, pictures, music, vids, hoembrew, Wifi, just it's all there.

And with cutom firmware you can run really good homebrew and use your psp as a remote! pspspspsps!

A modded PSP is the greatest handheld ever made. They can run emulators, do anything WiFi related, they have great games, and have much more potential than the DS for modding due to its greatly superior stats. The DS's selling point is a disadvantage, and the touch screen's awfulness was the reason I sold my DS and purchased a PSP.

I said you needed another PSP to make a pandora's battery, and every article I've looked at points me to the same conclusion. If you have some magical other way that I haven't seen, please enlighten me.

No, thats not what I said. Most of the games you listed are RPGs. Games you can't just pick up and play, that require thought and occasionally long boss fights. Super Mario is a game where you can turn it on, beat a level and turn it off. Hell you can beat the original in under 10 minutes!

I guess it just depends on the person really. I don't usually take long trips so maybe I'm missing something your getting. If I have a long wait I usually pull out a book or watch a movie on my Zen. Personally I would rather have my Zen with its over 20 hours of music and 5 hours of video, my ipod, which I use as an ebook reader, with at least 10 hours of battery life and my gba with it's flash cart with around 15 hours of battery life, than a PSP with maybe 8 hours max. If I can find a gameboy micro to replace my original gba I'm not going to be carrying around much more stuff than you would with your PSP, but I'll have at least 5 times as much entertainment as you would.
