hi! thinking of a new build... no SLI though, i guess ill jsut have to swap a GT280 later.

you may want to look into the g skill ram rather than the corsair as it will be better for overclocking.

I think you should get these fans instead. Still 110CFM, but they're only 37dB.

I have 6 of 'em in an Antec 900. They aren't that loud.

Thanks for the G.skill suggestion. I thought dominator were the top of the line ?

And what's the benefits of the Q6700 , it's not like a Q9540 with 12mb cache

Q6700 has a higher multiplier and recent q6600's have been overclocking poorly compared to the older ones.

I'd say stick with a Q6600. They overclock awesome.

Also, stay away from Corsair. As said above, G.Skill is the good stuff. The price is right, the performance is fantastic, and they have a very low DOA rate.

The 22" Syncmaster is a great monitor i have one on one of my systems , and yea get rid of the Corsair, ive had lots of trouble with them, the G skill is what i switched to and it does great
