Please don't take this as me being rude to you, but I really don't give a rats ass about nvidiavantage erm, I mean 3dmark vantage.

Can you post some game benchmarks please? DMC4 demo, hl2 ep 2, etc etc. Again, please don't take that as me being rude. It's just that games > benchmarks imo.

Well, I like how Vantage looks on my Samsung 2493 HM, so I am going to run it and watch it. And I paid $20 for it, so I am going to be sure and get my moneys worth. Unfortunately, I am STILL having driver issues. Running Vantage on the Extreme settings it just crashed and is telling me that my driver has crashed. I am going to try 177.39 again. I forgot to install the Physx driver thing after installing the .39 driver, so I am hoping that fixed my previous problem.

*EDIT* This did not work. I still am told by Vantage that I do not have DX10.

*EDIT AGAIN* I added a few Crysis benches. I am still running on the drivers 177.26 because nothing else will work no matter what I try. I will do Company of Heroes Wednesday night because I do not have it installed right now and I am dead tired and I will be gone all day tomorrow.

it's released either today (june 25th) or tomorrow the 26th.

Evga told me 26th, newegg told me estimated 25th so I don't know what to expect. Keep your eyes open!

Good find dude! I hope that 450 is overprices as best buy usuall is.

How's the heat on it?

I like vantage and other futuremark scores, so thanks for posting them..

AFAIC its only a basis to see what the cards are like, and it seems pretty good IMO, for the 400$ price range its keeping its own against 8800gt's in SLI. The 280 is just about even with my 2 GT's so this should be just under that.

Great find and it seems it will be a nice little card. However you may want to try holding off on buy new nvidia hardware til driver issues have been worked out

So do you plan on getting another for SLI?
thats what I wana see, SLI scaling on these since the GX2 bombed in SLI

Hm... in about 2 months they will probably be 100-200 less. It seems the 4870 is very similar only slightly less performance compared to the 260. I really hope ATI's card in August can compare with the GTX280 so I can get one for a lot cheaper!!!

Game Benchmarks>3d mark benchmarks>no benchmarks

Get us what you can right mate, CoD4 and Assassin's Creed pref and Crysis defs. If you have AoE3 that would be interesting. I get about 17fps after 1 hour of playing but I start of with about 60fps?!?!

Had you waited a bit longer until say, a few weeks after you would have probably saved yourself $50 but from what I have read it seems like an impulse purchase.

Not trying to be mean here, but that sucks for the price.

One HD4850 = 25.5 FPS, $149.99

How would I go about benchmarking COD4? The only games I have besides Crysis are Company of Heroes which has a built in bench, and COD4 which I'm not sure how people bench.

That's a good question. The in game FPS counter has a 3 or 5 second average I believe, so you can get an estimate.

There is no point... you can max it out Im sure and still be above 60FPS averege, prolly even closer to 75 on averege....

I see triple digits @ 1680x150 and 1600x1200 and bottom at 60-75

You load up a level and let it sit there for a few minutes.

I'm pretty sure it's the sniper level... that's what people at evga told me that they bench cod4 doing that.
